1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using our website or services—including fitness classes, workshops, consultations, and doula services—you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or have the consent of a parent/guardian) to register for or participate in our services. By using our website or registering for services, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Services Provided

The Mothership of the Pines offers fitness classes, holistic wellness, childbirth education, and doula services both in-person and online. All services are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our offerings at any time.

4. Registration & Payment

To participate in certain services, you may be required to register an account and provide accurate, current information. You agree to update your information as needed. Payments for classes, workshops, or services must be made in advance unless otherwise specified. All prices and services are subject to change with notice.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Classes and Events Booked Through the Town of Southern Pines:

• All bookings, cancellations, and refunds for classes and events offered in partnership with the Town of Southern Pines (or other municipal partners) are managed directly by the town and are subject to their policies and procedures.

• The Mothership of the Pines does not process or control registrations, payments, or refunds for these offerings. Please refer to the Town of Southern Pines’ website or contact their offices for all questions or requests regarding class/event bookings, cancellations, or refunds.

• We will do our best to assist with general questions, but all final decisions rest with the town.

Private Doula Services and Direct Bookings:

• For services booked directly with The Mothership of the Pines (such as doula care or private consultations), cancellations and refunds are governed by the terms outlined in your signed service agreement or contract.

• Please contact us directly for questions about these private services.

• Fitness Classes & Workshops: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund or class credit. No-shows or late cancellations may not be eligible for a refund.

• Doula Services: Cancellations and refund eligibility are governed by the terms in your signed service agreement/contract.

• We reserve the right to cancel classes or services due to low enrollment, instructor illness, inclement weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered a rescheduled session or a refund.

6. Health & Safety Disclaimer

By participating in our fitness classes or services, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are voluntarily engaging in physical activity at your own risk.

• You are medically cleared to participate in fitness or wellness activities.

• The Mothership of the Pines and its instructors are not responsible for injuries, illnesses, or health issues that may arise during or after participation.

• Always consult with a physician before starting any exercise program or wellness service.

7. Code of Conduct

We strive to create a supportive, inclusive, and respectful environment. You agree to:

• Treat all staff, instructors, and participants with respect.

• Refrain from disruptive, abusive, or discriminatory behavior.

• Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by staff or instructors.

We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any participant who violates these standards.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, program materials, class plans, and images, are the property of The Mothership of the Pines (unless otherwise credited) and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. User Content & Testimonials

By submitting testimonials, feedback, or photos, you grant The Mothership of the Pines permission to use, reproduce, and display such content in connection with our services and marketing, unless otherwise requested in writing.

10. Photography/Media Release

From time to time, we may photograph or video group classes, workshops, or events for marketing and educational purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify us in writing prior to the event.

11. Online Services & Account Security

If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

12. Links to Third-Party Sites

Our website may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these sites and encourage you to review their terms and policies separately.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other emergencies.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Mothership of the Pines and its representatives are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our website, classes, or services.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Mothership of the Pines, its staff, instructors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of our website or participation in our services.
